Helmholtz Zentrum München is a research center with the mission to discover personalized medical solutions for the prevention and therapy of environmentally triggered diseases and promote a healthier society in a rapidly changing world.

The Helmholtz Pioneer Campus (HPC), founded and funded by the Helmholtz Center Munich, stands for the intelligent fusion of biomedical sciences, engineering and digitization. At HPC, top scientific talents from across the globe work together on the development of novel solutions that make a difference in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases.

The nanoPROBE Lab, headed by Dr. Jian Cui, engages in nanomaterials and photonics research for optical bio-sensing and engineering. Our mission is to develop new tools and uncover new biology. Our group has been developing new nanomaterials-based optical tools for bio-sensing and bio-imaging. However, reaching the full potential of our methods requires careful engineering of the optical and chemical properties of our nanomaterials.

We are looking for a highly motivated and talented
