Your responsibilities

  • planning and execution of experiments in genetics and drug discovery
  • independent cultivation of different cell types and screening including gene mutagenesis by CRISPR technology
  • organization and execution of workflow and independent coordination of experiments, troubleshooting molecular biological methods incl. cloning of mutagenesis constructs
  • PCR, NextGeneration Sequencing, identification of gene mutations, etc.
  • independent presentation of results, documentation and archiving of results

Your qualifications

  • basic experience with cell culture, molecular biology, organization is desired
  • completed technical assistant training
  • knowledge in Office, Powerpoint, Excel
  • basic lab management

Provided that the prerequisites are fulfilled, a salary level up to E 9 is possible. Social benefits are based on the collective agreement for the federal public service (TVöD). The position is limited to one year as a parental leave replacement.
