The aim of this position is to utilize models of lung fibrosis to understand the molecular mechanisms underlying the action of a new class of recently discovered antifibrotic compounds. This will incorporate cutting-edge methods including pre-clinical animal models of disease, multi-omics, as well as traditional molecular and cell biological approaches.

Your responsibilities

  • Analysis of preclinical animal models of fibrotic lung disease
  • Histopathology analysis and imaging
  • In vitro and Ex vivo cell culture assays
  • Project management (data analysis, quality assurance and monitoring, writing of reports and publications)

Your qualifications

  • PhD degree in biology or related area
  • Previous experience with molecular biological techniques
  • Previous experience with animal (mouse) models
  • Passion for science, innovation and creative and independent work
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Excellent written and spoken English
