The Genomics Core Facility at Helmholtz Munich is recruiting a highly motivated technician (Lab technician/BTA/CTA/MTA/B.Sc.) to join our team. The successful candidate will mainly support our genotyping platform using an automated high-throughput robotic setup to screen cohorts with various Illumina microarrays. You will contribute to sample preparation, quality control, and primary data analysis of the gene array readout. Working closely with other team members you will ensure the timely and effective completion of projects and excellent customer support. The position also offers an excellent opportunity to learn about NGS sequencing, library preparation, single-cell genomics, and spatial transcriptomics, which are all offered at our state-of-the-art core facility.

Provided that the prerequisites are fulfilled, a salary level up to E 9 is possible. Social benefits are based on the collective agreement for the federal public service (TVöD). The position is (initially) limited to two years, under certain circumstances an extension can be arranged.
