Your responsibilities

  • conception, modeling and implementation of
    • databases and services for a federated exchange of data between the German Centers for Health Research
    • GDPR-compliant data transfer
    • federated analysis platform for biomedical data analysis
    • federated authentication solution
  • implementation of routines for automatic import and export of (meta) data
  • implementation of a user-friendly interface and visualization of data
  • integration of other databases and public databases
  • creation and support of hardware and software solutions

Your qualifications

  • completed university degree in the field of (bio-) informatics or completed apprenticeship in informatics with long-term relevant professional experience
  • relevant experience in database and software development
  • relevant experience in IT administration (devOps)
  • proficient in one (or more) of the common programming languages
  • high level of initiative, creative, analytical and problem-solving thinking
  • good team player
  • very good written and spoken English


Desirable qualifications:

  • experience with design, modeling and implementation of federated services in cross-functional teams
  • experience with medical data processing (e.g. HL7, FHIR)
