We continue to recruit and are looking exactly for you. To this end, we have adapted our recruitment process to ensure the greatest possible health protection for both our applicants and our employees. After successfully reviewing your application documents, we will invite you to a friendly video call or telephone interview, no special devices needed. Here we simulate a face-to-face interview situation in order to get to know you better. Fight with us against the spread of environmentally related diseases and apply now.

The Helmholtz Pioneer Campus (HPC) founded and funded by the Helmholtz Center Munich stands for the intelligent fusion of biomedical sciences, engineering and digitization. At HPC, top scientific talents from across the globe work together on the development of novel solutions that make a difference in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases.

The nanoPROBE Lab, headed by Dr. Jian Cui, engages in nanomaterials and photonics research for optical bio-sensing and engineering. Our mission is to develop new tools and uncover new biology.

Our group has been working on the development of a new nanomaterials-based approach to imaging oxidative damage. However, the full applicability of this technique cannot be determined without a more sophisticated understanding of light propagation through cells and tissue. Therefore, we are looking for a postdoctoral researcher interested in exploring the physics of light generation, propagation, and detection through biological matter of different sizes, shapes, and composition. Your goal will be to advance these studies in the context of our current project. However, you are also encouraged to explore new possibilities and directions.

We are looking for a highly motivated
