Your responsibilities

  • Design and build handheld imaging systems.
  • Work with users and other stakeholders to validate product hypotheses.
  • Work with vendors to develop custom device components.
  • Develop and implement component and device validation protocols.
  • Support efforts to scale up device production.
  • Support development and execution of clinical trials.

Your qualification

  • PhD or equivalent experience in a technical discipline with work related to optics, electronics, imaging, spectroscopy, biomedical engineering, or related disciplines.
  • Motivated to bring ideas from concept to reality, learning new skills as needed.
  • Interested in being a key part of an emerging startup company.
  • Comfortable working in a hypothesis-driven environment.
  • Desired qualifications
  • Practical knowledge of imaging, electronics, or medical device regulations is a plus.
  • Strong writing and speaking skills, especially in English. Knowledge of German is also beneficial.
