Your responsibilities

  • Analyse biomedical single cell data
  • Train and evaluate deep neural network on imaging & single cell RNAseq data
  • Fit mechanistic models to blood cell frequencies and kinetics
  • Merge deep neural network and mechanistic models
  • Supervise students

Your qualifications

  • PhD in computational image analysis, medical imaging, biomedical mechanistic model fitting, or a related field
  • Excellent knowledge of state-of-the-art deep learning methods and modeling approaches
  • Interest in solving biomedically relevant problems with computational methods
  • Strong motivation and ability to independently work on computational projects in a multi-disciplinary team
  • Desired qualifications
  • Experience with data-driven model discovery / physics-inspired deep learning
  • Experience in supervision of students
