The Core Facility Genomics offers services in the field of next-generation sequencing (NGS) for DNA and RNA sequence analyses as well as in the field of genotyping using high-throughput methods. This includes sample preparation and data generation as well as the return of partially analyzed sequence information to collaborating partners. Our team consists of molecular biologists, biochemists, technical assistants and bioinformaticians.

Your responsibilities

  • Preparation of libraries for Next-Generation Sequencing (manual and automated) 
  • RNA and DNA preparation
  • Genotyping of DNA samples on a high-throughput scale
  • Collaboration in the development and optimization of production processes 
  • Updating of SOPs

Your qualifications

  • Successfully completed training as an MTA, BTA or comparable training 
  • Self-motivation, initiative and dependability as a team player 
  • Good knowledge of all MS Office applications
  • Desired qualifications
  • Experience in Next Generation Sequencing 
  • Good verbal and written communication in English
