We are Helmholtz Munich. In a rapidly changing world, we discover breakthrough solutions for better health.

Our research is focused within the areas of metabolic health/diabetes, environmental health, molecular targets and therapies, cell programming and repair, bioengineering, and computational health. We particularly excel in the fields of basic research, bioengineering, artificial intelligence, and technological development.

Through this research, we build the foundations for medical innovation. Together with our partners, we seek to accelerate the transfer of our research, so that laboratory ideas can reach society and improve people’s quality of life at the fastest rate possible.

This is what drives us. Why not join us and make a difference?

The Unit Global Health (UGH) at Helmholtz Munich is dedicated to tackling pressing global health challenges. Our mission is to foster collaboration between scientists from Helmholtz Munich, the Institute for Tropical Medicine & Infectious Diseases at the LMU Klinikum, and our partners in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). Together, we strive to improve health outcomes in vulnerable populations worldwide.

As a Clinical Statistician or Epidemiologist (f/m/x), you will play a key role in advancing our mission by providing robust statistical analyses for diverse clinical studies in tuberculosis and respiratory diseases. With your work you will contribute to transformative research and make a meaningful impact on global health care interventions. If you are passionate about leveraging your expertise in statistics and epidemiology to solve global health challenges, we would love to hear from you.
