Our mission as research center: Discover personalized medical solutions for environmentally triggered diseases to promote a healthier society in a rapidly changing world.
Structurally embedded in the Technical University and Helmholtz Munich, the Center of Allergy & Environment (ZAUM) conducts immunological basic research with the clear scope of clinical application. We profit from the clinical input and material transfer provided by the clinics of the Technical University, as well as from an environment of cutting-edge technology and diverse experimental platforms provided by Helmholtz Munich. Our institute is shared between the Technical University of Munich (TUM) and Helmholtz Munich (Institute of Allergy research IAF), thereby the PhD candidate (f/m/x) will have access to both facilities and benefits from both teaching programs, and will become a member of a dynamic inspiring team within the institute and with external collaborators.
