Your responsibilities

Contribute to the implementation of intelligent radiomics by integrating the whole imaging value chain – ranging from imaging hardware, over image formation, to medical interpretation of the data – into an intelligent software environment.

The clinical use case of the project is optoacoustic imaging of peripheral neuropathy. The internal structure and vascular supply of peripheral nerves can be visualized in unprecedented detail by exploiting the spectral contrast of optoacoustic imaging. The project has the potential to enable early detection of pathological changes in peripheral nerves in conjunction with diabetes.

Therefore, if you are interested in conducting a clinical study in medical imaging, join our team and help us gain as many medically relevant insights as possible from our imaging data. This is your opportunity to contribute to a medical imaging revolution!

Your qualifications

The successful applicant must have the following:

  • An MD or extensive medical experience.
  • Strong motivation, scientific curiosity and commitment to scientific excellence.
  • Experience with ultrasound imaging.
  • Experience with clinical studies is an advantage.
  • Programming skills in MATLAB / Python are an advantage.
  • Team player skills and enthusiasm to work in a multi-disciplinary, collaborative environment.
  • Excellent command of the English language.
