Our mission as research center: Discover personalized medical solutions for environmentally triggered diseases to promote a healthier society in a rapidly changing world.
The Institute of Epidemiology researches the interaction of environment, lifestyle and genetics in the development and progression of various diseases. The focus is on cardiometabolic, respiratory and allergic diseases. The goal is to break new ground in prevention on an individual level as well as to enable evidence-based preventive health care through improved environmental conditions. The research is mainly based on the KORA resources and the birth cohorts GINIplus and LISA.
We are looking for a highly motivated and creative postdoc with a passion to develop and support our multidisciplinary team focused on allergy research within the ERC-funded project ALLERGENE.
