The Institute for Diabetes and Obesity (IDO) is located at Helmholtz Munich. The institute is focused on the development of personalized preventive and therapeutic strategies for diabetes and obesity.
The research unit Molecular Pharmacology (headed by PD Dr. Timo Müller) is aiming to establish new pharmacotherapies to safely and efficiently lower body weight while improving glucose metabolism and is currently looking for highly talented and motivated Postdoc (f/m/x) to support the ERC-funded 5-year-project “TRUSTED” to decipher the role of the glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP) on energy metabolism.

Provided that the prerequisites are fulfilled, a salary level up to E 13 is possible. Social benefits are based on the collective agreement for the federal public service (TVöD). The position is (initially) limited to two years, under certain circumstances an extension can be arranged.
