The primary objective of the Institute of Diabetes and Regeneration Research (IDR) at the Helmholtz Diabetes Center München is to develop regenerative therapeutic approaches to treat diabetes mellitus - complementary and alternative to the classical immunological and metabolic therapy strategies.
