Our mission as research center: Discover personalized medical solutions for environmentally triggered diseases to promote a healthier society in a rapidly changing world.

Structurally embedded in the Technical University and the Helmholtz Munich, the Center of Allergy & Environment conducts basic immunological research with the clear scope of clinical application. We profit from the clinical input and material transfer provided by the clinics of the Technical University.

Thematically, our international team investigates cellular and molecular processes that are involved either in the prevention or establishment of chronic inflammatory diseases such as allergies or autoimmune diseases. For this purpose, we investigate diverse immune cell populations with a wide range of methods including single-cell sequencing, flow cytometry and molecular techniques.
