We are seeking a highly motivated and talented student (f/m/x) with biological knowledge. You will work in an innovative, well-equipped and scientifically stimulating surrounding, where you will combine theory and practice to understand the changes observed during aging and disease.

In the course of your thesis, you will build solid skills in whole-body immunolabelling, 3D imaging, and manual labeling with VR technology for whole-body signal analysis and quantification.

Your responsibilities

  • optimizing our mouse whole-body antibody labeling technology for nuclear markers, including stem cell markers.
  • utilizing it to gain insight into the effects of aging and diseases in tissue regeneration.


Your qualifications

  • Bachelor/Master student in Biology / Biochemistry / Biomedical science or similar.
  • basic knowledge and experience with tissue handling and immunostaining are required.
  • knowledge of stem cells and aging is a plus.
  • structured and independent working style and the ability to work in a team.
  • excellent spoken and written English.

Contract duration depends on the time required to complete the thesis in the candidate's study regulations.
